Good news to all photo-enthusiasts!!!. CandidSYNDROME Brunei is pleased to present you the “ASAH MATA” photographic workshop. This time around we will bring to you exclusively from Indonesia, “Agah Permadi”.

Agah Permadi is one of the Gurus in digital photography. Having vast knowledge on photography and digital technology, he is capable of exerting such skills in producing stunning images worth thousands of dollars and has been sold successfully to International companies.

Do not miss this opportunity to learn the digital post-process (Photoshop) from him; a nice and humble man who do not rely on expensive cameras or fancy gimmicks to produce superb quality images.

This workshop will kick off once we managed to get the minimum numbers of 20 participants. So, let this workshop be your investment to gain a priceless knowledge. Don’t forget to bring along your friends too!!!

The fees per person is charged at $380 for public (inclusive of refreshments & outing as indicated in the programme). However, for students and those who participated during the 1st. Asah Mata Workshop last March 2010, is entitled to enjoy up to 20% discount. A deposit of $150 per participant is required in-order to secure your seats.

it's been a month...

.... since my last post... been pretty occupied with everything....

1st, 2nd & 3rd Day of Hari Raya

Today's the 4th day of Syawal... and for the past 3 days, our Aidilfitri celebrations were totally packed, from the food to the house visits, from the family gatherings to the convoys... most of it aren't much different from last year except this year is more special than the last, we have our cute baby Sarah... hehehe... below is a simple list showing how we've celebrated our raya during the last 3 days...

1st Day of Syawal:

1. visited our late father's grave

2. went to Tua's house at Batu Besurat

3. drove all the way to KB to join our convoy (12 cars altogether)

4. witnessed an accident (live!) when we're on our way to KB (our deepest condolences to the victims' family for their loss... al-Fatihah...)

5. visited around 7 houses in KB

6. wanted to go back to Bandar early but the highway's still jammed due to the accident

7. went to Sheikh Khalid's house... fireworks were displayed... love 'em!

8. lemangs, ketupats, sotos, lambs, beef and chicken rendang, chocolates & varieties of drinks were on the list of food being served

2nd Day of Syawal:

1. went to JC with the BFFers for breakfast... hehehe

2. went to our colleague's house, Jasmine

3. after Friday prayers, we went to another colleague of ours, Yati

4. joined our convoy to visit our relatives in Tanah Jambu, Serasa, Sungai Lampai and Sungai Akar (12 cars altogether)

5. played fireworks with the cousins

6. some family group hugs... it was fun!! hehehe...

7. chatted online with our cousin Zul who's currently working in Iran

8. tried some strobe shots with the younger cousins

3rd Day of Syawal:

1. went to our friend, Lisa's house in Pelambayan... did some group hugs

2. went to another friend, Hjh Ani's house in Mulaut

3. Tua (Batu Bersurat) came to our house together with Asai (Lambak) and their families

4. old friends of me wife also came

5. went Uncle Pengiran's house in Sengkurong

6. waited for the huge storm to end before going back home

Went to another gerai Ramadhan outing last friday with the BFF members... this time we went to Gadong... saw some new faces again... i'm so proud the forum's growing bigger everyday... okay, back to the outing... as usual, the place was packed with hundreds of people, young andold... not forgetting the hype stall owners/sellers... some of them even counted (1, 2, 3) before their pictures were taken... and not forgetting the food! huge varieties to choose from, let it be eastern or western... all in all, it was a good outing & experience... had a great time (check out the group pic.. hehe), atmosphere was awesome... hope to join you guys again soon!

p/s: thanks zali for the lens... sure got me addicted & interested to buy one..

Gerai Ramadhan Outing: Part I

Went to the stadium last friday for the BFF annual gerai Ramadhan outing... & as always, the place was packed with people, large varieties of food & tons of subjects to be focused & captured... one stall that really caught my eye was selling loads of grapes... I could even see the price label from hundred meters away... it's something different, something fresh... hopefully they'll sell varieties of dates next year... even though I've had some problems with uploading, I had a great time shooting with the guys & gals... part two's coming this friday... Happy Fasting everyone..

Went to BFF's sunset outing at Tungku Beach last Friday... The main purpose of this outing was to learn some tips on how to take landscape shots & post process it to HDR... Saw some new faces.. Didn't get any decent shots due to my late arrival but at least I got to know how to use the bracketing function (finally!) & the group shot.. hehehe...

She's a month old yesterday... it still feels like she's born yesterday... While other babies cried, she sleeps most of the time during her first days... I love her more each day & miss her when i'm at work... It's been a month of new experiences & I'm enjoying every moment of it...
